BREATHING

With the events of the past few weeks in lockdown, and now getting back
into life with a new normal, some people may have noticed that they are experiencing stress and anxiety. Hardly surprising!!!
For some, this may result in a BREATHING PATTERN DISORDER.
Research has shown that one in ten people actually have a
breathing pattern disorder.

Symptoms can include:
  • physical tension and or anxiety
  • blurred vision
  • dizzy spells
  • brain fog
  • shortness of breath
  • frequent sighing and yawning
  • heart racing (palpitations)
  • achey muscles and joints
  • neck/shoulder pain
  • tiredness
  • chest pain
  • reflux or feeling of nausea
  • breath holding

People may experience one or several of the above symptoms.

At Bay Physiotherapy St Heliers, Aveny Moore and Vicki Lang
are BradCliff trained BREATHING PHYSIOTHERAPISTS.
They are available to assess and help people restore normal breathing
patterns.
This can be via a TeleHealth Consultation or a face to face consultation
back in the Clinic now at Level 2.
Please Phone 575 3666 or email admin@bayphysiostheliers.co.nz
to arrange a consultation.
