BODY COMP ANALYSIS
The SOZO Digital Health Platform gives you a comprehensive fluid, tissue and metabolic analysis of the human body.
It provides you with a personalized picture of your fluid, muscle and fat status.
SOZO measurements are made by passing a harmless electrical signal of a very low strength through your body. It only takes a minute or so and you don’t feel a thing!

LYMPHOEDEMA INDEX
For oncology patients, the L-DEX (Lymphoedema Index) measurement, enables early detection of fluid accumulation in the at risk arm or leg, shown to reduce the incidence of clinical lymphoedema by almost 90%. This bioimpedance spectroscopy can detect lymphoedema up to 10 months prior to volume measurements. Early detection of lymphoedema is critical to aid in the successful treatment and reversal of the condition in the early stages.
Here at Bay Physiotherapy we assess, educate, treat as appropriate and teach a total self management regime in the post surgical rehabilitation phase to achieve the best possible outcome for our oncology patients.
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS PRIOR TO YOUR MEASUREMENT:
Be normally hydrated
Have not exercised 2 hours prior to the reading
Have not consumed caffeine 2 hours prior to the reading
Have not consumed alcohol 12 hours prior to the reading
Notify us if you are pregnant, if you have a pacemaker or other implanted electronic device or any metal implants such as pins or plates in bones You will be required to have an empty bladder prior to the reading. (You may use our toilet on arrival).

Osteoporosis is an issue which is increasingly prevalent in the middle aged to older population. This can be attributed to lifestyle, diet and hereditary factors. If you answer yes to several of the questions in the survey, you might want to check in with your doctor for a bone density scan. Osteoporosis can certainly be treated and in some cases prevented.

Younger athletes suffer similar injuries to adults, however there are some significant variations in the type of injuries sustained because of the differences in the structure of growing bone and soft tissues.
Common conditions include Osgood Schlatter lesions, Sever's lesions and growth plate fractures.
We are keen to provide early intervention and education to allow our young athletes to remain competitive throughout the season and continue to participate injury free.
Pre-season screening and early treatment allows us to identify those at risk of injury and provide appropriate management advice and exercises.
